Free Kids Dental*
Approximately 3.4 million children have access to free general dental care thanks to the Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS) This scheme was introduced by the government to try and combat the current oral health issues in Australian children. It applies to children between the ages of 2 to 17 and is capped at $1000 per child over two consecutive calendar years.
Treatments covered include dental check-ups, professional cleans, x-rays, fillings, fissures sealings and extractions.
Children must be eligible for this scheme and it is means-tested therefore applies to those who are part of a family receiving Family Tax Benefit Part A or any related payments from the Australian Government.
Kids generally require that little extra TLC, at Dental On we provide just that! We offer a complete range of preventative services such as fissure sealants, hygiene appointments, fluoride treatment and mouthguards.
If it is your child’s first time at the dentist, or if your child is fearful, we are happy for you to bring them by our office to meet the team before their scheduled appointment and we are happy to arrange this time with you if you feel your child would benefit from this.
