What is Invisalign Treatment?
Invisalign Treatment is the clear way to a Straight Smile.
Invisalign is a nearly invisible way of straightening your teeth. Treatment consists of a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that you change over every two weeks. Each aligner is individually manufactured for your teeth, and your teeth only. As you replace each aligner, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to their final position.
Unlike fixed metal braces, they allow you the flexibility of eating whatever you want by simply removing them. You can also remove the aligners to brush and floss as you normally would for fresh breath and good oral hygiene. More than 1.9 million people across the globe have been treated with Invisalign. We conveniently offer in-house Invisalign treatments to our patients in both our Milton and Buranda surgeries.
Treatment can be given to the top or bottom, or together. For more information and answers to FAQs on Invisalign click here.
If you’re ready for a smile that transforms your appearance, Invisalign is your answer.
Initial Consult
At your initial free Invisalign consultation, we’ll discuss your concerns and explore how we can change them.
If you choose to move forward, we’ll book you in for step 1 and take an impression of your teeth!
Treatment Plan
The impression is then digitized so that we can work with a 3D image of your teeth and plan tooth movements. Once we have completed this process, you will be invited to approve the plan before the aligners are made.
Getting your Invisalign!
When we receive your Invisalign, we’ll book you in for a fitting and you’ll wear the aligners for 22 hours per day except while eating. Over the following months, we’ll book you in to review and give you changeover aligners for the course of the treatment!

Why Invisalign?
Although there are many choices out there, no other treatment works as comfortably as Invisalign. As with any orthodontic treatment, once treatment is complete we will give you either fixed or removable retainers to wear so that your smile can stay straight! This is really important because if retainers are not worn, relapse is risked. This is why retention with retainers is expected for life, so as to maximize your investment and ensure you keep your new, beautiful straight smile. As an added bonus, the last Invisalign retainers we give you can be used for teeth whitening purposes.
